About Dr. Babcock
I was born and raised in France and moved to the United States where I went to college and graduate school. I am a graduate of the George Washington University Ph.D. program in clinical psychology. I additionally trained for 7 years as a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst with the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis. Since 2014, I have been an adjunct professor of clinical psychology at George Washington University where I supervise the clinical work of doctoral students in clinical psychology.
I am licensed to practice in the state of Maryland and in the District of Columbia. I work in English or in French.
Services provided by licensed psychologists are reimbursed by most insurance companies. Since I do not participate in any insurance panels, my services can be reimbursed for those who have out-of-network mental health coverage.
While I cannot prescribe medications, I work closely with psychiatrists to whom I will refer if we decide that medication should be considered as an adjunct to psychotherapy.
